I’ve found this in the website regarding to Huawei and Vodafone software. It might helps though I put it in this page.

Ok well I’ve had enough of both the Huawei and Vodafone software and dashboards! I kept having conflicts, PC took long to find the device and the sh1t took too long to connect:My solution:

1) Copied the folder called DRIVERS in “c:\program files\Huawei”2) Formatted and re-installed XP Sp2.3) Connected the device, uninstall “USB Storage Device” from Device Manager.

4) Unplug and replug device and then driver wizard comes up.

5) Point to the DRIVERS folder you backed up. Point to the folder both times the wizard appears.

6) Set the APN in advanced properties of modem.

7) Create a normal windows dialup connection and you sorted!

No more rubbish auto running software. Device is picked up within 10 seconds. Connects within 5 seconds. Its running beautifully!
